At Blessed Martins College of Nursing Sciences, Ikwo, we believe that leadership, responsibility, and active participation are essential qualities for every nurse in training. The Student’s Union Government (SUG) is the official representative body of our students, established to promote unity, protect students’ interests, and create a vibrant academic and social community within the college.
The SUG serves as a bridge between the student body and the college administration, ensuring that students’ voices are heard in decision-making processes. Through effective representation, the SUG fosters dialogue, advocacy, and cooperation for the overall well-being of students.
Beyond representation, the SUG organizes academic support programs, health awareness campaigns, sports activities, cultural events, and community service projects that enrich student life and promote holistic development.
By engaging in leadership, teamwork, and service, members of the SUG gain invaluable experiences that prepare them not only for professional nursing practice but also for broader societal leadership.
At Blessed Martins College of Nursing, the SUG is more than a union—it is a platform for empowerment, growth, and positive change.
